~~Riley's 1st trip to the beach!~~

When we ventured down to Aransas Pass to see family over Labor Day weekend, we took adfvantage of the fact that there was a beach...RIGHT THERE. Riley had never been and I so wanted to take her before she started school. It didn't happen. We did, however get her there the very next week. Check out our girl on the beach!! She loved it!!!

Riley's First Day of Kindergarten!

Riley started Kindergarten today and I fought tears. She was such a big girl and wanted no part of her parents being with her. She looked super cute and we are just so proud of her. We love her new school. It is called Gunstream Elementary after Bessie Gunstream. They play the Beatles "Here comes the Sun" every morning at 7:57 to let the kids know they only have 3 minutes to get to class. It is the cutest thing. All visitors have to have passes, which makes me feel so good about her being there. She loves it. Go Lil' Wildcats!!

~~Daughter's Day!~~

This year as we celebrated Mother's Day and father's Day, Riley got curious about when Daughter's Day would be. We thought about it and decided that we could do a "half-birthday" for "Daughter's Day". We were a little late, but she loved it. We got a cake, she got a present or teo...and we celebrated Daughter's Day. It was doubly great because my Mom was here...Riley loved it and now we are wondering..."What were we thinking??"....still so fun!!

I could go on for days about how amazing the staff at Preston Kiddie Kollege is...really. I am one of those paranoid Moms and leaving Riley at PKK, was a breeze! Miss Shantal always has answers for me and is so together. I love her....sorry I mispronounced your name and hopefully, I did not misspell it too!! Miss Beth... she was new when it was time to say goodbye. Even though I do not know her well, she was so sweet and very easy to talk to. Miss Dionne was great too! So caring and even brought Riley out to the car for me one day when I had strep throat!

Auntie!!....ahhh ~~ what can I say...you made me feel so confident leaving Riley in your care. You love all of those kids like they are yours. You are truly gifted, as is your staff. Thank you so much for all you gave me and of course, all you gave Riley. We will always have wonderful memories of our times at PKK and will be back next summer!!

My Baby graduated from Pre-K

I can't believe Riley is already so big!! She is 5 going on 25...not even kidding!! She went to Preston Kiddie Kollege and the staff there is just amazing!!
