Monopoly with PaPa

Mom & Dad came to visit late feb through early March. We had such a good time. They were able to stay for about ten days. Dad spoiled me by having my coffee and breakfast on the table when I got up everyday. I tried to mnake him stay, but they had to go. The photos are of Dad and Riley playing Junior Monopoly. I think I may have a lttie cheater on my hands. Gee Whiz@!@!

Riley's Birthday suprise!

We tricked Riley on her actual birthday. See, it was like a Monday night and we told her it was just too bad we could not see the Hannah Montana movie as it had already been taken out of the theater. We told her we were seeing something else and I am so glad I brought my camera! We were the only ones in the entire theater and told her we had gotten her a "private screening". Enjoy the pics. They are priceless if you ask me. You can tell in the last picture, she is sayong, "It's" with her lisp. She was saying, "IT'S HANNAH MONTANA!!!!"

Birthday gift from Uncle Dave & Aunt Liz

Yes. Her birthday was way back in Februaury. Cut a girl some slack,,,times have bneen tough and a lot busier than we would like! So, Riley turned 5 Feruary 18th and this is a gift she got. You all know what a gilry girl she is. Well, let me just tell you; she loves this dress. She was twirling and playing with her hair. Dancing all over the place. I have it on video, but need Brad's help...AND he just happens to be working tonight. Thanks for ,y pretty dress Uncle Dave & Aunt Liz!!

Okay. I know you are all hating me and wondering if I fell off the planet. I am still here!!! We have been really busy.

I just got back from my first businness trip. I flew to Tucson, Arizona for the AGTA GemFair. It was a really wonderful experience. I feel like I have grown up. I actually flew there by myself and did not freak out!! Tucson was beautiful!! I met the most amazing people!! I worked like a dog...really long hours, sold memberships and products, made fat cash, networked...had a blast!! So glad to be home!! I missed Riley and Brad SOOOO much!! We had fun though. I included some pics of my co-workers.

The weekend before I left, my little Riley got sick. I thought it was Strep or something, we went to the doctor that Monday Feb 4th. Well, she had the FLU!!!!!!!! I was like OMG!! I am leaving town tomorow how do I keep from getting it?! Call my Dr., beg for something. She calls in some Tamiflu, go to pick it up from Walgreens, all while trying to work 9 hours a day and get packed for my trip. Pharmacist tells me that the side affects can be just as bad as the actual flu and to make matters worse, it cost me $60.00...really????? So, that night my little doodle's fever shot up to 104.2~!!!~ You all know how I am prone to freaking out...yep~~that did it!! I was crying, calling my Mom, calling my Mom-in-law, trying to calm down. All the while, my sweet husband is remaing cool and collected. Luckily, she broke the fever and rested well. I think I almost had a nervous breakdown!! She was so lethargic and burning up!! I am so grateful and amazed at her. She is now mostly better, running all over the place, loud and proud...my sweet little doodle bug!! Did I mention that while I was in Tucson, I started feeling bad?
It really sucks to be talking to people and sneezing like 10 times in a row, Wiping your nose and feeling like SH*T! Oh~~~and Brad got it too!! Guess next year we may consider a flu shot...doubt it but maybe.

I promise to update at least once a week...not promising pics yet...but I will try!!
